WineSofi's winemaking courses offer a unique opportunity for those interested in the world of wines, whether it's about the basics of winemaking, the wine-making process, professional tasting techniques, or even grape pruning.
The courses are tailored with a personalised curriculum to ensure that each participant acquires knowledge suitable for their level and interests.
Courses are held in groups of 4-8 people in Badacsony, but depending on the module, there is the possibility for larger groups and different locations. They are ideal for corporate team building or social gatherings where participants can explore the mysteries of winemaking through hands-on experience.
Possible modules include:
- Fundamentals of grape pruning: Learn the technique of soft pruning, which is gentle on the plant and suitable for producing high-quality grape yields.
- General viticulture knowledge: Understand the basics of grape cultivation, including vine planting, soil work, and plant protection options.
- Basics of winemaking: Discover the process of making wine, including must treatment, fermentation, wine stabilisation processes, and the latest winemaking technologies.
- Professional wine tasting: Master various wine tasting techniques and recognize the distinctive flavours of domestic and international wines.
- Marketing: Learn the basic tools and strategies for marketing winery products, and explore the opportunities in the Hungarian wine market.
